This policy explains how Bunjgum (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit bunjgum.com or contact us. Bunjgum is a marketing strategy consultancy based in Cairo, Egypt, serving companies in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

2. What we collect and why
Contact form and direct messages
When you use the contact form, email, phone or a social channel to reach us, we receive your name, email address, subject and message, plus anything else you choose to share. We use it only to reply, to discuss a possible engagement, and to keep a record of our conversation.
Website analytics and advertising measurement
When you visit, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location (country and city level) and how you arrived. IP addresses are anonymised. If we run advertising, we may also use pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn and Google Ads to measure and improve our campaigns.
Fonts
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers and your IP address is shared with Google to deliver them.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
3. Legal basis
We process contact details to respond to your enquiry and take steps before a possible contract (legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps). We process analytics and advertising-measurement data based on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website and marketing. You can object at any time by emailing us.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers needed to run the site and our business, such as our hosting provider (Hostinger), our email provider, and Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and, if we run ads, Google Ads; and Google Fonts) and, if we advertise, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. These providers may process data outside your country. We require appropriate safeguards where the law demands them.
5. How long we keep data
- Enquiries and correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we work together, in which case we keep records as needed for the engagement and legal obligations.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
6. Your rights
Under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020), the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you may ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email hello@bunjgum.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

This site is intended for business users and is not directed at people under 18.

Our pages link to third-party sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
